El Dorado is an imaginary place which, over the course of history, has been the subject of many interpretations.  Now it is a dream (offshore) which takes the form of an exhibition in the form of a constellation which debates myth and history.  It is a space where things are not isolated in their existence, where different ideas meet ceaselessly: the origin of extractivism, control of nature and its manipulation. 

While the imagination is becoming a political tool to stimulate alternative ways of organising life, knowledge, order and disorder, what role could images play?  El Dorado explores our attitudes to the world, undermining Western thought which separates the world into antagonistic dualism: nature and culture, material and immaterial …. El Dorado is an exhibition on the colonisation of the imagination (amongst other insights) rooted in a contemporary myth.
