Elise Gagnebin-de Bons

Nos corps perceptibles

The art of Elise Gagnebin-de Bons is an oblique interpretation of the social and political experiments of her private life.  Using multi-formats she explores margins, traces of time, evidence of resistance and objects and vestiges that we no longer notice, that have become invisible because of the transformation of places.  She questions the symbolism of isolated elements observed in the urban environment and expresses her personal reinterpretation.  The Nos corps perceptibles exhibition explores, in particular, our relations with ‘outside’, the  spaces for demonstration, gatherings, contestation and life.  A reading corner at the Gallery presents books related to the exhibition and to the artist.  A fanzine workshop is made available to visitors, young and old, during opening hours.  (In partnership with the Fanzinothèque, labiblio.ch and the Bibliothèque de Lancy).
